Solutions Wanted

The following is a list of solutions requested by Members, Members Clients or Government Agencies that the Zero Pollution Network believes there may be commercial demand for. This list contains basic key desirable attributes / specification and bidders are requested to send their initial response to info@zero-pollution.net with the subject matter containing the ZPN number and bold part of the description.  

Low Energy, Fast Responding, Low Maintenance, Low Cost Detector/Sensor for semi-permanent insertion in discharge channel that can give a real-time indicative reading of E-Coli levels as either a voltage, 4-20mA, SDI-12 or serial signal. The solution must be operable from batteries and preferably certifiable to the ATEX directive. Target price per sensor < $ 300.00.

A Small compact low cost, low voltage, modular microwave doppler radar module that can be use in OEM applications and applied to measuring flow velocity in wastewater flows. The module should be capable of giving a serial data output and responding in < 1 sec if woken from cold and to measure flow velocities from < 0.1m/s to 5m/s. Target price per sensor < $125.00

 A Small compact low cost, low voltage, modular microwave distance module that can be use in OEM applications and applied to measuring depth / distance above wastewater flows. The module should be capable of giving a serial data output and responding in < 1 sec if woken from cold and to measure distances over a span of 2.5cm (1”) to 1m (3ft). Target price per sensor < $100.00.

A non-evasive, zero energy method, chemical or filter material/medium to kill or remove or reduce bacterial contamination such as E-Coli from low to medium surface water discharges. The material must be low cost, easy to transport and if spilt into the environment have no detrimental effects on aquatic life and similarly not become litter and importantly not contribute to the levels of plastics into the oceans.  

 A system by which the scale build-up in sewer stacks can be monitored as part of an IoT/wireless sensor system. The solution should be suitable for use with cast iron, steel and plastic sewage stacks, not require mains power at the point of measurement and not require holes to be drilled into the stacks.
